In this work, the patterns are embedded into the land to conceal them and to represent how the traditional patterns are beginning to fade. Therefore, the designs have been merged into the contours and different shades of red have been used to show how the patterns are a part of the Algerian landscapes. Different regions in Algeria have specific patterns that represent the history of past generations. Traditional patterns are beginning to disappear as individuals evolve and new identities emerge. The contours are a reminder that the landscape can change, and identity is not fixed.
